Why Choose AYUSA World Leaders
AYUSA is the leader in youth exchange programs because we have built a reputation for quality programs and operational excellence with a central focus on the student experience.
When you participate in an AYUSA program, you become a part of a larger network of people who all care deeply about building bridges of cultural understanding to help create a more peaceful international community. Thousands of U.S. and international students have had life-changing experiences in one of our programs because of our years of experience, high-quality programming, dedicated support, and expertise in cultural exchange.
Nearly 30 Years of Experience
With nearly 30 years of experience and a presence in more than 80 countries, AYUSA has learned to develop and run high-quality programs that respond to our participants’ needs. Follow the details of our extensive history year by year by reviewing our historical timeline.
High-Quality Programming
A commitment to excellence is the first goal of our highly trained professional staff. AYUSA programs are continually monitored and improved by an experienced staff of educators and overseas study specialists. AYUSA is designated by the United States Department of State as an official Exchange Visitor Program Sponsor. Parents can feel secure in the knowledge that the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel has granted AYUSA the full listing in the Advisory List.
“The purpose of CSIET is to identify reputable international youth exchange programs, to provide leadership and support to the exchange and educational communities so that youth are provided with meaningful and safe international exchange experiences, and to promote the importance and educational value of international youth exchange.”
Dedicated Support
Our expert staff is available to help you at every stage of your experience with AYUSA. Speak to a knowledgeable program advisor about the details of the program and what you need in order to apply. Once you’re accepted, we’re here to help you decide what to bring to the program, from clothes to spending money.
Once in the program, you will be greeted by our friendly on-site staff, who will live with you and be available at any time to answer questions or help you through problems. Our support then goes beyond the program end date with your participation in the 2009 summer blog, and our Program Director will provide you with the tools to remain connected as an alumnus of the program.
